    August 7, 2023 - Medium gold color
Medium plus aromas of ripe/ bruised apple/pear and mild oxidative notes/spice - green leafy background
Medium bodied with oily texture - linear with rounded edges
    - fairly dense ripe apple/ pear with slight tropical notes
Medium acidity and moderate phenolic bitterness and medium alcohol
Moderate length led by phenolics and spice component
Nice wine and better than many from Campania Ive tried

    April 26, 2023 - Notes from memory
    Light gold with pink tint
Medium aromatics - unripe stone fruit but led by herbal and mineral notes
Palate is linear and again led by minerality and green leafy quality - quite different than the last bottle two yrs ago
I really like this and drinking well now

  • The Wine Write Likes this wine:

May 31, 2022 - Aromatics are fairly subdued white flowers and tropical fruit. The flavors are anything but subdued. Lemons and in your face acidity. Interesting stuff.

    August 16, 2021 - Single blind tasting
    Medium gold
Aromatics medium -. Green herb, secondary of honey
Palate has medium body. Acid medium +. Mild phenolics. Alcohol medium. Lemons, minerals and a green vegetal ending
Finish has medium length. Balance to the acid
Dry glass notes of creamy wax and bread
Overall not what I hoped for in aromatics.
Hold next bottle for a while

August 9, 2021 - Medium gold color with pink tint
Medium aromas of caramel apple and confectionary aromas - marshmallow? initially though these dissipated in time - followed by faint tropical notes
Medium bodied with palate of ripe peach and citrus - ending with a vegetal note
Medium acidity and medium alcohol with moderate length
Dry glass aromas of green leaves - funny how often the fundamentals of the variety/ wine lay in the dry glass
Not as characteristic or enjoyable as the 2018
I would hold on this for 2-3 yrs at least to see if this comes together into something more interesting
