December 30, 2023 - Enjoyable, but didn't experience the nuances of palate others did.

October 25, 2023 - Continuing to improve. What remains...longer finish, tension, and more vibrant nose. Fantastic wine!

    May 25, 2023 - Popped and poured.
Deep garnet color; tart red fruit nose.
Soft, silky, voluptuous mouthfeel. Slightly overripe Black cherry, hard grape candy, with some interesting spice, and savory undertones (roast meat, in particular). This one feels fully mature, and I can’t imagine it getting much better. Not a ton of Brunello character, but it is a tasty sangiovese, nonetheless. Good QPR, and primed for current drinking.

March 11, 2023 - Red and blue fruit, cassis, herbal notes, spice, cedar, leather, finishes with some tannins and a touch of acidity. A-/A

March 4, 2023 - Agree w/ TheBigJuan (2 yrs. later). Traditional. Nicely balanced acids and tannins. Good integration. Dried cherry, savory herbs, slight pepper and tar on the tantalizing finish. Stellar w/ food. Very good value. 13.5% abv. D/H.
