  June 20, 2022 - Amazing intense amber color, almost glowing. Not much acidity, mild fruit notes, but long finish and complex aroma. Paired well with eggplant puree and parsley salad with vinegar dressing.

  January 24, 2021 - I put this food friendly wine to the test with several different combinations this week, with overall good results.
  
  Pho-worked well until I began adding hoisin and chili to flavor/spice up the broth, and flavors began to clash a bit
  
  Street Tacos (braised beef, refried bean, onion and cilantro)-I think the Rosado would do well with most Mexican food, this was a good match
  
  Pepperoni and Onion Pizza-pepperoni spice put up a challenge, but the Sangiovese base in the wine did well to hold up against it
  
  Frittata with mushroom, bacon, tomato-probably the best match, rich flavors of eggs, cheese and other garnish all combined seamlessly with the fruit and acidity of the wine
