September 5, 2022 - Beautiful in the glass and in the mouth. Delicate but mouth filling. The fruit is outstanding. The aftertaste is extremely clean and refreshing. A great wine in the making with a few more years of bottle aging.

June 26, 2022 - Sunday hangout (Chicago, IL): It's no secret that I hold the 2019 sec lineup from Huet very, very highly, so I was pretty excited to see this. Admittedly this doesn't have quite the same electric energy; it's a little rounder thanks to the fractional sweetness. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel like there's enough sweetness to do anything with it, and this is kind of stuck in the middle between two styles (I guess that's what the name implies too). And while this is a pretty good wine, for my palate, the dry version is far more interesting.

May 25, 2022 - I have had some bottle variation lately with young Huet, but this was lovely and spot on. It is very primary as you would expect given its youth.

April 23, 2022 - Medium pale, medium intensity, ripe apple, some toast, lanolin. On the palate, medium acidity, full body, sweet ripe fruit, apricot. Medium finish, well balanced, complex, can age for many years. Very good quality wine.

April 9, 2022 - No notes taken while drinking this, but this was a step up from the 2017 I had earlier in the week. It had been a very long work week and day, which means typically I just don't enjoy even great wines as much as I would if I weren't tired and stressed. However, the quality of this wine broke through all that and it was a lovely and perfect end to the week.

The 2017 seemed sweeter, with this 2019 being barely off dry. Lovely fruit flavors, balanced acidity. Very elegant and classy.
