April 17, 2023 - Notes after following for two hours open. Light yellow/green hue with a speck of fine sediment. Light to medium intensity nose of buttery oak, lemons, kiwi, and a little herbaceous tinge. Weighty and slick on the palate - the alcohol letting its presence be known. Flavors are oak-driven vanilla wafer and lemon creme offset by some grapefruit pith and almond. It does achieve a respectable balance, somehow, and it may actually turn into something special with the character that some aging can impart. But, it's also just a rendition that I'm not particularly fond of tonight. YMMV

September 18, 2022 - Strange bottle variation on these - I grabbed this one tonight to try to get rid of my remaining 23 after the last bottle, which was nothing but oak; This one was very nice, still rich and showing oak but much better balance; I kept this one cold, which could helped, but overall continues my de Negoce boytle variation experience

February 22, 2022 - Tropical fruit, a hint of floral notes, round but with good acidity, carries the 14.4% well. Very nice value from De Negoce.
