  February 9, 2022 - The cork came apart in an odd way. The bottom disk sort of exploded horizontally which caused it to pull off the rest of the cork. Then the wine showed a strong bretty quality which wouldn't fade. That's a first for me in a white. I don't know if that was related to the cork but it is an odd coincidence even if those items shouldn't really correlate.
  Catching up with this note from some time back because the next wine I opened from this house, Elixir, also showed bretty.

  January 27, 2022 - Not for everyone, but I loved this. Almost like drinking a dirty gin martini - that beautiful olive saline note forms the back bone of this wine and it is delightful. Mushroom, nuts and pear dominat here. I think it is goos quality price ratio and is a good lesson on why Palamino is so versatile.

  June 17, 2021 - This tastes like a still champagne made with palomino grapes. It is a bit introvert but has a lot of finesse and only 11.5 % alcohol. After two days' opening, it shows dark aromas, toast, a hint of licorice and notes of oak. There is good acidity and a very pleasing texture.

  January 29, 2021 - Nuts, pear, melon and a hint of smoke on the nose. Fascinating palate, medium body with a dense, saline character and very little fruit. Decant 1h+.
