January 29, 2022 - IWS Tuscany, Campania, Basilicata, Marche, Umbria; 1/29/2022-1/30/2022 (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Polished, cherry, sweet spice, slight alcohol warmth, cedar, slightly brambly underpin here as well. Medium plus acidity is very slightly sour, drying chewy chalky tannins, wild cherries and brambles, a little polished oak in support. Nice.

October 27, 2021 - Coravin fun - Italian investigations (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Sour cherry, slightly oxidative, tobacco leaf, cedar, a little earth, the most 'serious' of the wines in the bracket. And so it proves on the palate, medium plus intensity acidity and tannins which are drying and coarsely textured, sour cherry, cedar and tobacco leaf. A little 'hard'. Needs time.

March 24, 2021 - Nothing I can really add to what Eric Guido said in his note for Vinous, so I won’t try, but to sum it up short: redberried, tart citrus, herbs - delightful and pure sangiovese.
