June 2, 2007 - Dinner at Bern's with Penn, Scott, Eliza, et al. Deep brooding wine. Still alive and kickin. The biggest wine (Burg) of the night and even rivaled the 61 Leoville in color. Really stunning.

June 1, 2007 - First night in Mecca (Berns): Full red color with some pink at edges - no bricking. Tight spicy black cherry briar nose with rose petal notes. Nice tight youthful spicy red cherry fruit on the palate with a persistent round tannic finish. Unbelievably structured for it's age - a lovely Bonnes Mares.
