  January 5, 2024 - Four hour decant. Very very deep magenta color (no manipulation). Blackberry, blueberry, cardamom, salty/crispy pretzel, and honeycomb. Very dry, plush palate, with fine, mouth filling acidity. Voluptuous tannins on the longish finish.
  
  This is both beautiful and pensive at the moment. It’s still holding back. I expect noticeable improvement in two years and I hope I can wait that long. Very fun wine even now with sufficient aeration.

  November 5, 2022 - At PNP, quite tight and ever so slightly bitter. Opened nicely after 2 hours of air in decanter. Will see what it does after 24hrs back in the bottle.
  
  The slight bitter seems to be a trait of many of my Boich wines.
  
  Next day, still a dark brooding wine. Raisins and dark fruit. Not revealing a lot of itself.

  February 9, 2022 - Deep purplish red. Darker than the Missouri Hopper with an attack of blueberries, dark cocoa and cinnamon on the nose. Followed up by a bit of violets and boysenberries. Definitely needs a little bit of time to develop and fully open up but still very enjoyable. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) with a full body. Dark berries on the palate with rich baking spices and an underriped undertone. Dry and lingering finish. Drink till 2038.
