May 12, 2024 - While I'm generally a big fan of Relic and their style, this one isn't quite up to their usual profile. The nose was dried cranberries and some cherry and raspberry. The flavors were sour cherries and tea. The finish was sour and there was no pepper or other spices, and no earth. Over an hour the sour notes faded slightly but the fruit did not come forward.

January 11, 2022 - PNP. Deep dark magenta color. Stemmy cranberry, bramble berry, and subtle pepper on the nose. Very smooth, modestly tongue drying palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
