Community Tasting Notes 3

June 9, 2021 - Day 1: Floral and less tropical version of sancerre, light and bright, a bit reminiscent of tight/upright German riesling. Just moderately pungent and citrusy. Medium high level of linear clean acidity with another layer of crescendo shaped amino acid sweetness and chalky limestone mineral. I totally see lychee mentioned by other reviewer - saline and delicate.

Day 3: opened up, with additional layers of juicy ripe pear and pineapple. Maybe I overchilled it on day 1 - a bit higher temperature will reveal its rich fruity face. 90-91pts.

March 4, 2021 - I opened this bottle about a half hour ago and have been sipping it gingerly while it is opening up for business. It has a floral and herbal nose to it that does remind me of many Sancerres. It has a light golden color with a slightly blush tinge to it. Very interesting.

It has a medium body to it with notes of green apple, a little pineapple, maybe a little bit of lychee nut, and a savory finish. It also has a nice mouthwatering acidity.

January 6, 2021 - That smells rather darn fine. Pink candied fruit to it. Apparently the son in law is now in charge and cleaned things up. Les notes the chalky tension and intensity to it.
