April 18, 2024 - On opening, I smelt acetate and was worried that the bottle was fatally flawed. Thankfully this blew off after 20 minutes and was replaced by beautifully cherry aromas and taste. I felt that I’d struggle to place this as Garnacha if I tasted it blind, so much did it remind me of a Pinot Noir (perhaps Cotes de Beaune?) undoubtedly it’s ready to drink now but it’ll be interesting to see how this develops over the next 5 years +

December 8, 2023 - Not as robust on the nose (a bit thin alongside the high toned red fruits?). Red fruited with a touch of glycerin, though it hides the alcohol pretty well. My first experience with this bottling and will be interested to watch it age. This exposure makes me wonder if it has the stuffing to age well in between the high acidity and the alcohol content.

July 29, 2023 - Bright and cheery. Excellent with Paella.

July 28, 2023 - light but fruity, with berries.

July 9, 2023 - Deep ruby in the glass. Decanted for over an hour, but this is still tight as fuck. High tannins, high acid, big body. You need to buy a few bottles of this and age them for a decade or two to get your money’s worth.
