  February 6, 2024 - Bought at The Wine Soc' UK for around £40
  
  Chilled but no decant.
  
  N.....some quince and cut rock melon, a little pineapple. A lot of smokey toasty oak - and that seems currently out of balance.
  
  C...light Gold. Looks medium body.
  
  T....old-fashioned in the sense it's very much in the banana/caramel style, though there's a cleansing acidity too. Intense flavours, I've opened it way too young. Ripe apple, some toffee, some pineapple and tropical profile. Sweet oak.
  Big flavours that need time to settle, it has clear potential.
  
  Medium-Dry on the scale.
  
  QPR?.....feels worth it's £40 price, especially once some elegance arrives with maturity.

  December 19, 2023 - Very nice young Chardonnay with clean fruit and light minerality. Relatively short finish but nevertheless pleasant quaffing wine.

  October 20, 2023 - Coming back to this vintage after 1 and a half years. High altitude vineyards are located at 1450 and 1120 meters. Wine is aged in new, second and third use FR oak barrels for 14 months. Pale lemon colour. Medium+ intensity aroma of lemons, pineapple, apples, peaches. Medium+ body, smooth and creamy texture, medium zesty acidity, quite intense lemon, stone and white fruit flavours, saline mineral notes, well integrated oaky hints, touch of bitterness at the finish.

  October 16, 2023 - This was lighter than I had expected. There is very limited evidence of oak and the wine did not give that tropical almost banana weight that I had seen in Argentinian Chardonnay before. It was elegant, delicate and very well made. There was citrus but that was in balance as well.
