March 21, 2024 - Meh. Entry level RDD from an esteemed producer. Nothing too outrageously flawed, but rather pedestrian and uninsured effort. Somewhat weedy behind the usual tempranillo fruit. Medium finish. Rather forgettable.

March 18, 2022 - Decanted for 30 min before started to drink. To the nose, black cherry > blackberry, plum for fruit, with oak > cigar box, and some earth. On the palate, black cherry > plum, blackberry and very slight red fruit (cherry, raspberry). Some leather with very slight chocolate. Slight earthiness with woods and mushrooms. Tannins are soft but provide adequate structure. Good acidity. Black pepper foremost among all spices, and spice increases as opens up. Both mouthfeel and length are medium to med/short. Alcohol at 14.5% but does not appear hot. Excellent QPR.
