December 31, 2017 - 2018 New Year Holiday in Marlborough / Nelson; 12/31/2017-1/5/2018 (Blenheim / Nelson): Light golden hue. Elegant fruity nose. Fresh acidity, a little sweet, super smooth and balance in mouth. Subtle toasty and nutty notes in finish. This Blanc de Blanc is better than most NZ$50 champagnes. Alc 13.5, RC 18.0

February 22, 2015 - Tasted blind. I liked it, there's noting wrong with it but, when it was unmasked, I was surprised because I had expected more. It has a better reputation than what I tasted on the day. All hype, no substance. Nose is mute. Colour pale. In mouth round solid wine, no intensity, very commercial style, not much going on here. Value-for-money: at around £16.00, not great.
