May 31, 2010 - good medium weight food friendly wine

July 23, 2009 - Great nose of red plums and maybe cassis. It's light enough on the palate to think it may not be long-lived, but deep and rich enough that this yummy Barbera could be confused with an easy drinking St Emilion upon opening, but softened over time to show off it's bright, crisp red fruit. It's got some depth to the flavor, a little heat, and good acid. It's very good barbera, but there's a slight something-else here. It's a good buy.
