April 19, 2024 - Big, intense and meaty featuring dark plum, raspberry, smoked meat and vanilla. Full bodied, medium to high acidity and medium grained well integrated tannins. No subtlety here, it’s an all in your face style. NI:4, FI:23, FC:8, B:3, L:5.

November 6, 2023 - Three hour decant, this is heavy in its iron/bloody demeanor with plenty of plum and dark fruit added in. Very concentrated and big bodied, it loosens up with several hours of air and becomes less overwhelming.

July 27, 2023 - PnP. Lots of dark plum and black fruit loaded with graphite and dried herb. Palate delivers an interesting dark fruit, black and white pepper blend delivered with a pop of energetic acidity. It flows quickly into granite and earth with plump tannins, sweet purple fruit, meaty notes, and oak, with all of that hanging around for quite the finish. A lot going on with this wine. Drinking well now and personally I'd prefer it in the next few years while it highlights the fruit and verve.

July 3, 2023 - Black in the glass. On nose, blueberry, saline, blackberry, iron and mesquite. Similar on palate but more blue / black fruit. Full body, medium acidity/tannins and long finish.

    Excellent on night 2. 93+/-

April 29, 2023 - Very tight initially. Definitely needed to open up a while, after which it was very enjoyable.
