May 12, 2010 - Fragrant aroma of smoky coconut, ripe blue fruits, chocolate and dried herbs. The nose evolved to a bouquet of cigar box and spices after an hour. Good balance of ripe tannins, soft acidity and subtle black berries in the mid-palate. Finish has layers of oak and herbs on a juicy fruit and lingers for a long time. Superb wine making effort here. To appreciate its best, wait for another 3 more years.

November 27, 2005 - A good even ruby. Quite an elegant nose. Open and restrained on the palate. Soft and relatively easy drinking. Good style. Very Good+
