November 16, 2023 - One of the best Chardonnays I have had for a long time. Restrained and balanced definitely in Burgundian style. Lovely

October 14, 2023 - Great intensity and complexity. Probably warmer vintage than '20 and '21. Wine of the tasting for me

September 14, 2023 - Hard to call this blind as an Oz chardonnay because it's more in line with Burgundy than anything else. Not a bad thing, not tied to the idea that it *needs* to display something overtly Yarra Valley when the wine is this good.
Acidity is high but not OTT. Lots of lemon, lime, grapefruit flavors on the palate. Some matchstick on the nose which is really pleases me.
I think this could go a loooong time before declining. Is probably 3-5 years away from peak.
Update: day 4 and this has put on weight and texture. 94+.1 person found this helpful Comment -

March 8, 2022 - Comparing this with 2018 Mount Mary Triolet, personally find Triolet with 68% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Semillon and 8% Muscadelle better than 100% Chardonnay. This is using the Burgundy style of wine making? Which I thought i would rather pay a little more for French wine. On the nose and palate, still youthful and alot of lime, lemon notes. Can feel that acidity is on the higher side and will pair well with seafood.

November 21, 2020 - Taste with friends. A lot of lifted floral notes of white blossom, white peach, honeysuckle, cream, very mineral on the nose. Medium plus intensity on the palate, with almond, grapefruit and peach. Medium plus finish with subtle marzipan character (close to long). Very good to outstanding quality.
