September 3, 2023 - Beautiful blend of Cab Franc and Merlot. Russell Bevan nailed this blend. The aromas are so widespread, wifey smelled the bouquet from 10 feet away. Fresh red fruit jam, melted chocolate, garden fresh herbs, slightly dusty pavement, little bit of blueberries and mushrooms. Good acidity, silky tannins on long finish.

April 27, 2023 - This gorgeous and lush blend of Franc + Merlot is firing! Dark red to purple, the cork stained my hands when opening it. Bold, thick, highly aromatic and velvety. Think melted organic dark chocolate chips, blueberry scones, dark berries, fresh strawberries, finely chopped sage, mint leaves, thyme, baking spices, crushed chalk and stones.
Nice acidity with milky tannins on long finish! Bit of heat on finish but it should integrate with time. -

November 13, 2022 - Gorgeous, lush, velvety red and blue fruited Franc/merlot blend. Loads of raspberries, red cherries, blueberries, pie crust, French toast with sprinkle of cinnamon, toasted cedar and hints of garden herbs. Plush on the palate, addition of dark fruits, medium plus bodied, tongue coating acidity, ripe tannins on long finish.

October 14, 2022 - Nice notes of leather and stone fruits. Medium finish. Decanted for a few hours. As others noted, the longer the better and would have opened up even further

December 6, 2021 - Drank this over three nights. It opened up more and more each night. Dark cocoa notes predominated on Night 1, but by Night 3, it was a beautiful medley of warm and rich flavors. This wine will take as much of a decant as you can stand to give it.
