May 27, 2021 - Dense purple, full bodied wine.
Decanted and drank over five hours
Best glass was the last and consumed at near true ambient room temperature.
Figs, balsamic, floral notes, some anise.
Perfectly balanced. Tastes like the nose would indicate. Medium finish. This wine is definitely on its down slope. This wine is probably a 93 pt wine onnly a couple of years ago. Still delicious.

December 16, 2017 - I was concerned that this bottle may be well past its prime. A taste straight out of the bottle seemed to confirm my concerns. There was an odd sweetness and, despite the age, some harsh tannins. After decanting for two hours and serving it with food, it opened up beautifully. Delightful. I wish I had another.

February 18, 2011 - Minneapolis Wine Club: Blind Tasting $25 Price Point: I thought the first Brunello was the 98 but note to be. Minerals, tobacco, raspberry and sweet fruits. Medium finish and drink now.
