February 16, 2024 - In the decanter 3 hours prior to drinking. Mostly garnet with a faint purple hue, which does fade with time open. More tertiary than primary descriptors, grenache on the nose with dried red summer fruits, dried herbs and some shiraz on mid palate with weight, slight jam, plumminess and smoked meat. Probably peaking now, drink over the 18 months. Feel one of blending varietals isnt holding up to the rest,

    August 22, 2022 - A: pale ruby
N: medium (+) intensity aromas of ripe black plum, red plum, strawberry, blueberry, violet, dried herbs/sage, spice/clove, dust/brick, garrigue.
P: dry, medium (+) acidity, medium (+) almost high, velvety smooth tannins, medium ABV, medium, medium (+) intensity flavors of ripe berries, herbs, clay, medium (+) finish.
C: very good wine, fantastic balance of ripe fruit and smooth, velvety tannins, bright acidity adds a lovely lift as does the violet florals. Great concentration and good complexity. Drink now but will evolve over the coming 5-10 years with potential for outstanding down the road. Really smooth, well done wine.

January 22, 2022 - Started to open up after some decanting. Dry smooth tanins with a light mouthfeel thanks to the Grenache and Cinsault. Earth components. The finish has a sage component from the Carignan. Should do well with some more time in the bottle.
