December 15, 2023 - Wining with Bas & Derk: smooth velvety CS dominant Bordeaux blend from Chile: plum, soft vanilla, black fruit, soft leather, fig, medium to full body, superb long creamy finish.

July 8, 2022 - Dark red, almost meaty nose with brooding fruit, still quite tannic even 10 years later, decanted, and very good with grilled steak. Tasted along side a Ramey Claret 2011, and the Vik is a simply hulkier; the Ramey was more graceful.

March 5, 2022 - Dark purple in color. Notes of blackberry, cassis, licorice, and spice. Nice wine, paired perfectly with steak.

February 3, 2022 - Couples night with Wines That Don't Suck (My house): Splash decant. The nose has some herbs, blue fruit, coffee. The palate is rice and it ends with a lean finish. Interesting overall, kind of different.
