November 12, 2022 - Drinks like a baby Cote Rotie, as advertised. Check in a year.

  • James Kim Likes this wine: 90 points

June 10, 2021 - Decanted for 4h. Still shy aromas - barely perceptible blackberries and some brambles. Palate with ripe blackberries and blueberries, grilled meats, olives, a bit of earth and medicinal bark. Full bodied with moderate tannins and good acids. Mildly polished texture. Nice moderate finish of earth, tart, grilled meats, and olives.

May 7, 2021 - Decanted. Took 1.5h after decant to open up. Now 3h after decant. Aromas of crushed blackberries and black cherries, herbs, lots of minerals, black olives, and a bit of bacon fat. Palate w deep blackberries, red cherries, earth, minerals, iron, olives. Excellent concentration and nice depth. Nice acids lift the wine. Moderately long finish. Nicely done.
