Community Tasting Notes 3

May 18, 2023 - Smooth, easy drinking pnp. Some acid and slightly too sweet on the finish but quite good.

  • Bob Fyke Does not like this wine:

February 20, 2023 - Not sure what is the cause, but this bottle did not live up to the notes of others. It was simple and without any secondary details. Hoping it was a flawed bottle, although there was no sign of heat damage or TCA. If I was to score it as-is, it would be in the 82 point range.

March 29, 2022 - Roses and violets are the stars that open the show. That is, until you find all the gorgeous layers of opulently, textured, soft, sweet, silky, red fruits. Full-bodied, rich, fresh, clean and polished, there is a touch of oak, judiciously used. So, allow the wine a few years in the cellar before pulling a cork and enjoy for up to 20 years after that. This is the finest vintage of Larmande I have ever tasted! Drink from 2024-2040.
