April 26, 2024 - Full bodied and maybe a little more CA tasting than WA state. Very fruit driven. Long finish.

February 18, 2024 - Very good, but will hold the next one for at least a year...

November 18, 2022 - First time trying this wine so I wanted to crack my first of four before reserving more cellar space. Upon opening it was super tight and nearly no aromatics. After a 3 hour decant (you could certainly do more) it morphed into something quite beautiful. Drank from a Spiegelau definition burgandy glass, was a great choice.

Nose was bright cherry, strawberry and dried rose petals. Inky black in colour, quite an extracted wine. Palate hits with tons of fresh cranberries, sour cherry, pomegranate and ends with a dash of potpourri spice. At 100% syrah I was quite surprised with how prominent the tannins and acidity were. Reminds me of a young bordeaux. I look forward to revisting my next one in 3+ years to see how this wine settles in. 92+
