April 9, 2021 - On the nose a rich melange of ripe black plums, coffee, tobacco, aged beef, chili pepper, cloves. Full bodied on the palate with a rich tannic jam of spicy dark fruit, delicate crisp acid frame, nice malty back notes. I appreciate the elements here, but the in-your-face style is almost too much.
