September 5, 2022 - opened by my son, and I only had the last sip when I got home... but this was really pretty darn good for the price, nice red fruit with some density, good acidity, nice lift...maybe just a hint of spice to come with age... happy I bought a case for $50 a btl (not seeing much good red burg these days at that price for golly sakes)

August 8, 2022 - as expected for a Volnay from 2017, this was light bodied with lift... just a little short of expectations for the body / fruit, maybe this is starting to shut down a bit??...

July 15, 2022 - Brambly cherries, red currant, copper pennies, kitkat candy wafer, charred oak on the nose. Typically soft attack, sweet velvety texture, metallic black cherry, milk chocolate, light tobacco note. Slightly hot and short finish. Excellent QPR, and no guilt about using a cup of this to reduce with black cherries to sauce some dry aged duck breast.

November 18, 2021 - Skøn mørk og syrerig PN fra gamle stokke. Der er både friske frugter og varm fylde. Ã…bner sig endnu mere op efter en halv times tid eller mere. Mums!

Seriously good burgundy leaning towards Cali extraction levels BUT delicious and balanced checking all the boxes of fruit earth terroir tannin
spice....rooted in burgundy but a nod to CALI...
Well done very good QPR !!
