April 22, 2022 - I agree - a very nice cab from Amador - I could almost taste mountain berry fruit in it (and it had a cork) - with just a little more wood, it could age nicely (or maybe it would now, but I drank it)

May 12, 2021 - Sobon makes a very good Amador Cabernet. It's not going to challenge a Napa or Sonoma Cab, but for the price, this is an excellent value. It's big fruit-forward with a delicate tannin structure and a pleasant but short (by Napa standards) finish.
