May 21, 2023 - 18-years past vintage and showing incredibly well! Medium Ruby color in the glass, with lovely spice on the nose. The body is more fresh than I expected, with dark fruit and red berry coming through on the palate. Short-Medium finish. Very enjoyable.

November 20, 2022 - 3L 2005 Domaine Serene Evenstad Res'v PN makes a quite remarkable showing. Nothing at all tired, in its mid-life prime showing great color and density. Medium-bodied with plenty of dark spice and black cherry on the nose, less spice on the generous palate. Zero green pucker, a great slightly drying grip on the long finish. Probably overpaid, but it over-delivered.

August 18, 2021 - Definitely not past it's prime! But also into the stage where it's showing a lot of earthy characteristics. Very nice structure and a lovely wine that presents like a heavier varietal than Pinot Noir. Glad I let this one get some age before popping the cork.

July 29, 2021 - No fruit left, past prime!

August 9, 2020 - This bottling had the worst cork I've seen from Domaine Serene ... completely crumbled despite gentle efforts to remove.

The freshness and bold fruit is gone (perhaps partially due to the cork) but it's aging well. Still very aromatic nose, though a thinner body and more leathery, earthy notes that shine through.
