March 24, 2024 - Classic, full bodied Napa Cab in a more old world style. Cassis, leather, tar and smoke with deep dark fruit. Still has 5-10 years left but drinking great now.

March 14, 2024 - Deep ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with green bell pepper, stems, blackcurrant, black pepper, tobacco, cedar and dried herbs. Medium taste of green bell pepper, stems, leather, blackcurrant, tobacco, cedar and dried herbs. Long and dry finish. Medium acidity. High and graining tannins. Full body. A very good Napa Valley Cab that needs time. Drink in five to fifteen years. Goes well with beef or lamb.

February 27, 2024 - From 75cl, closure not seen, opened but not decanted 90 minutes, which felt about right, positive development in glass. Strong blackcurrant scent; big-bodied entry to the seamless, pure, muscular but balanced mid-palate; tannins very well-integrated, adding support to all that ripe blackcurrant/dark berry fruit and retronasal herbal action. Most CT reviews below seem either to report "suprised this tasted as good as it did" or "this is an overpriced, underperforming cliché" but as someone who mainly drinks Bordeaux but is not a fan of hefty, extracted, "Parkerised" examples, I thoroughly enjoyed this excellent Cabernet, IMO absolutely at the qualitative level of comparably priced St. Emilion GCCs or superior left bank prize fighters (Phélan, Gloria). Perhaps it depends whether or not you enjoy that rich Napa fruit-turbocharge with your steak. 90P

October 5, 2023 - Was ok. Not worth it at the price point.

September 30, 2023 - Oh my! I dunno if it was what we paired this with (bbq sirloin kabobs) but it paired beautifully! Long finish and notes of black cherry, plum and a bit of oak. Drinking at prime right now.
