Community Tasting Notes 8

April 5, 2024 - Dark deep purple color. Freshness on the nose. Sour cherries, dark berries, touch of licorice, soft well integrated very nice tannins. Really long taste.

  • Srenix Likes this wine: 89 points

November 11, 2022 - Drank over 3 days, best day 3 still fairly high acidity in the wine and believe it will fall out over time.. Perhaps wait 2-3 years

October 23, 2022 - Dark reddish purple in color. Aggressive aromas of dark black/blue small fruits, dark florals and spices. The palate follows through with sweet black berry and currant preserves, good acidity, and a long fruit and spice tinged finish. This is eminently crushable.

October 2, 2022 - High acidity, long taste, young red fruit. A very nice Barbera. Buy again!

June 25, 2022 - Big wine, dark, concentrated, brooding. Very good, can’t say it stirs me like the ‘14, but who knows why… I’ve had many wines in those four years in between.
