  February 24, 2022 - An adequate wine which is medium (+) acidity, medium (+) tannin, alcoholic Ribena.
  
  Nothing wrong with vino Ribena per se 😏 but this is pretty one dimensional, thin in the mid palate with murmurings of the odd dark cherry, a blackcurrant or three and a smidge of liquorice. Not a hugely balanced wine.
  
  Was £6.95 a bottle from Wine Soc so one shouldn’t grumble too much.
  
  Drink now, not suitable for further ageing - or raging at the dying of the fruit light. 🙂

  April 21, 2021 - Medium ruby colour with black cherries and plums on the first nose. On the second - after a swirl - blueberries, roses and strawberries. This was a medium bodied wine with a good level of acidity and soft, supple tannins. Dry on the palate with flavours of liquorice, leather and plums. Drinking advice suggests to drink young but I suspect that this will age nicely over five years.

  March 19, 2021 - A simple but adequate wine for a pizza night or with something like sausage & mash or burgers. Ripe, pleasant, quaffable. good value.
