April 24, 2024 - Note much as last time, ie a very enjoyable bottle. Once again to note that this is not old-school meursault, it is a lot more zippy than that. Was not as good on day 2.

February 2, 2024 - Opened at the end of a looong week which involved YE reporting and an Ofsted visit for the two employed people in this house (who were pretty frazzled). It evaporated, but not before I noted a purity of white and citrus fruit, a crisp vibrancy, and a solid mineral core that kept the wine very straight-laced and fine. This is not a round or creamy Meursault, the profile is far more linear, but there is a sense of completeness and it is just very satisfying. Great.

February 4, 2023 - Crisp, pithy, citrus and vibrant. Lots to like, these are the kind of bottles you open from time to time and think "yes, this is how I like white wine to be, why do I not drink this more often?". There are sad reasons for that of course, but this wine is a real treat, excellent definition and effortlessly classy. A more modern style of Meursault, those hoping for buttery richness need to look elsewhere.

September 30, 2022 - Pale gold. A simply delightful white burgundy. Not cheap, but neither totally outrageous, and on this one outing well worth the outlay in my view. Minor reduction, crisp, a more modern style of Meursault without an oily or buttery character. Good structure and balance, a slight smokiness, and delicious white and mild citrus fruit to wash it down. I'd happily have this again, and as luck would have it there are five more - great stuff, first time trying this producer and really pleased!

June 28, 2021 - I hear this up and coming producer's plot of Limozin is quite old vines and a little "insider" tip among well priced white Burg. Seems the rumour is true here in that this is lovely stuff for the money. Manuka honey notes, good depth, lovely mouthfeel, an awful lot to like here and everything in check (the oak isn't overdone) and it's drinking really well already off the bat and even better with a decant. In a funny way it reminds me of Raveneau...
