December 21, 2023 - This has been quite reticent all night. Red and black cherry, old leather, fresh cut flower and spice on the nose. VERY full-bodied for a Chianti, this is round and heavy in the mouth without much in the way of precision, focus or cut. This has just not been speaking to me since opening. Hopefully this is an off bottle. That said, many will love its corpulent frame and loose-knit texture. 91+?

October 28, 2023 - Really, really good. Poured a little darker than what you'd expect, but the fruit was pure and delicious. And it had all the other flavor profiles you'd expect in a great chianti vintage. Excellent minerality and tension. An incredible wine and one that you can drink with or without food. The last sip was the best. Seek this one out.
