March 25, 2022 - A gorgeous deep dark purple hue. Earthy notes of tobacco, bay leaves, and cardamom come forth to greet the nose. The palate is extremely firm and grainy with blackberry, black currant, and savory crème de cassis. An enormous wine with robust and arid tannins balanced well with concentration and length. 94 points.
