September 22, 2012 - Opened by VM. Nice citrus flavors with petrol and mouthwatering acidity.
September 22, 2012 - Luscious. Still has the vibrancy of youth. Similar notes as before. 91-92 points.
September 22, 2012 - Deep yellow color. Peach, mineral and a bit of petrol- subtle honeysuckle note. Full-bodied, with apple, quince, honeysuckle and pear flavored. Long finish. 91-92 pts.
May 17, 2011 - Opened one of these over the weekend with Mark and Linda. 2nd time I have had this. This wine is doing very well. Still a light yellow color and looking rather young. The petrol was less noticeable this time around. Still had fine minerality. The flavors centered more around stone and flowers than fruit. Lush texture. 92 points.
December 28, 2010 - Starts out a little austere; stony and a bit rough on the back end, but with some air it quickly rounds out, gaining in weight and depth and becoming much more enjoyable. Quite complex, combining rich pear and peachy fruit with roasted almonds, touches of honey and an intense stony minerality, finishing long and faintly creamy. Very nice.
October 27, 2009 - I recently purchased a few bottles of this wine for $15 each. It normally sells for $35. This estate produces a total of 6500 cases per year. 92% of which is Riesling. They are a fine producer which has been on the rise since Andreas and Bernd Spreitzer took over from their Father in 1997. 12.5% alcohol. This was a medium bodied mostly dry wine. Lush with notes of apple, petrol and a fine minerality. 90 points.
