February 26, 2023 - An interesting "white" variety. 2019 was its first release as a varietal and it comes across as less than the sum of its parts. The 2019 has volume and acidity but not a really attractive aromatic and flavor profile, which comes across as cooked and tired. The 2020 is a much better example of its potential.

November 19, 2021 - Beautiful yellow gold. Other than that the wine is pleasant but without much of a personality. Maybe an undiagnosed encounter with Covid affected my sensory inputs. Anyway, I saved some for the next day just to confirm. Served with Linguini con vongole.

Apparently the 2020 Bourboulenc was harvested earlier for a fresher presentation. I would like to try it or wait until I have tasted the 2021 before passing judgment on the variety.

March 19, 2021 - Gold with orange tinge
    N: Lemon candy and floral
P: No idea what to base this, on it is so far out there. Weighty, lemon lavender (?) with a creamy finish
As a newly minted TC fan, keep churning these out

March 7, 2021 - I wish I'd have tried this sooner, before it was sold out. I'd have bought several more bottles. The is a very minor variety and this bottle has me asking why. Perhaps we've found another white variety that does exceedingly well in the vineyards of Tablas Creek.

Starts with lemon and floral notes that remind me of the Muscat family or Gewürztraminer. Picking up nectarine, herbal honey, honeysuckle, some pear on the second night and some saline minerality coming in. Very soft mouthfeel, a creamy texture, rainwater soft. 12.8% abv.

What a fantastic first vintage of this variety at Tablas Creek!

I would pair this with something like a classic Dover sole / a delicate white fish in a light lemon cream sauce?

January 24, 2021 - Nice flowery & citrusy nose. Softer tastes of citrus (orange), tropical fruit & minerals. Refreshing. Appreciate TC giving us the opportunity to taste this variety. Should be a good summer wine.
