April 15, 2023 - Is it fair to rate a Zin that is over 15 years old? A touch of oxidation leading to stewed fruit on the palate. Some bricking on the color. Part of a Zin and Burger night. It was the oldest Zin of the night. Some loved it (and would have scored it much higher) a few couldn't stand it. I was in the middle, I liked it, but I was wishing I had drunk it years ago. This was a lost in the cellar bottle as it was mixed in with my Turleys, but not on my CT inventory.

January 30, 2022 - While this wine long-ago lost its youthful exuberance, it is still drinking nicely. But it is clearly time to drink up.
