  August 21, 2022 - A little too rustic and brambly for me, would have liked a bit more fruit to fill out. Probably my least favourite Roddolo wine I have had, the 2015 superiore recently was much better. Still, a solid wine with bolognese.

  February 6, 2022 - Luftet 1,5 time i karaffel. Mørk og svært tett burgunder farge med et fiolett skjær.
  Ved åpning, lukt av liljer, moreller, snev av solbær, anis og tørkede gule krydder som kardemomme og 5 spice. Etter en tur i karaffel blir lukten og smaken endret i retning plomme, morell, tørket fiken, søt lakris, sort trøffel og gule krydder. Denne var best før lufting.
  Fortsatt en veldig god vin etter lufting, men den har mistet noe av toppfrukten. Høy konsentrasjon og syre. Man kjenner tanninene godt.
  Ved åpning 91p, etter lufting 87p.

  May 29, 2021 - Brambly and rustic, with plenty of red fruit up front and a devastatingly dry finish. Needs more time to rest. Threw a lot of sediment. Cut through everything we put it up against, and it was a lot.

  January 28, 2021 - Similar to my last bottle but more chewy and reticent. I'm going to try to sit on the rest of my bottles for a year or so but I always say that.
