November 7, 2023 - Prior bottle was almost a year ago and this wine has come together along the lines I'd hoped. Red berries and red cherry on the nose along with tart cranberry, earth, spice and floral notes. Close to medium bodied with a mix of bright red berries and slightly deeper, more rounded red cherry upfront and through the middle. Tart cranberry continues to show on the backside as well as spices earth and minerals. Integration has certainly evolved positively over the past year and should continue to do so. I'll plan to open my lats bottle in Fall 2024.

December 29, 2021 - Decanted for 3 hours. Tasted completely different and really brought out the smell and taste. Dry cherry taste, in a flavorful way. This is a Pinot that can wait a few more years before trying another bottle.

November 27, 2021 - Red berries, cranberry, a hint of red cherry and earth, spices and floral notes on the nose. Nearly medium bodied (12.5% ABV) with red berries upfront, deepening to red cherry through the middle. Has some tart cranberry background notes as well that provide mid-body contrast. Backside shows additional tart notes, balanced acidity and cranberries. Finishes with light spice qualities, earth and minerals. After being open about three hours and warming from cellar temperature, really starts to come together. Doesn't have the depth, harmony or complexity of the 2018, but still has room to improve with a bit more time. I'll plan to open my next bottle in Fall 2022.

September 30, 2021 - This is such an enjoyable wine. Light and bright fruits with some earthiness that reminds me of classic pinot mushroom.

December 5, 2020 - Juicy, perfumed nose. Red fruit, berries. Medium plus acid, very floral/rose-like. Pinecones and sous-bois. Nice acid, medium tannin. Absolutely delightful, and the most burgundian pinot noir we tried in the Finger Lakes. This was really a showstopper, and it had plenty of stuffing to age as well.
