  Hey, this bottle was great. Super on point. Really shocked as had this in Phuket about a year ago and it was super acidic, crazy tight. Was literally the most acidic champagne I've ever had, I thought Krug had that nailed down and was King. Nope.
  
  Anyhoo, today this bottle was singing like a canary. Open for business. Pretty shocked again that it was 80% pinot and 20% chard. I would have said the exact opposite. Acidity had totally integrated. Me and wife scoffed it down at Bouchon without any difficulty ))
  
  This bottle was at peak yet no sign of decline. I'll probably hold my remaining few bottles a while as it isn't going anywhere but I'm unsure it will get better.

  November 19, 2022 - [Tasted Blind] This pours light gold in the glass. The nose is rich, mature and highly expressive. Aromas are of wet soil, toffee, red apple, wet moss, burlap, charcoal, vanilla wafer, fresh mushroom, toasted grain, ginger snap cookie, a whiff of cardamom, and moist redwood forest. The palate is fabulously balanced with dosage that feels like 5 g/l with great, precise acid, medium plus. The finish lingers very nicely replaying the red apple, toffee, and ginger snap of the nose. Classy stuff. In my own deduction I narrowed this to a producer which uses oak and light oxidation, something like Krug or Bollinger. As soon as another taster threw out Henri Giraud Fut de Chene I immediately thought that made sense. I've had a few different bottles from this producer and there is a clear lightly oxidative leaning signature which I quite enjoy. This particular bottle I loved, with excellent balance of oxidation, freshness, and light earthy mushroom character. Great bottle!

  September 27, 2022 - Delicious MV (15) champagne and the star of the show including the likes of Clouet, Tarlant BAM! and Prévost. Rich, full bodied, deep and emphatic, presumably due at least in part to the barrel aging. Ready now. I like it better than most Krug MV which it somewhat resembles but even better balanced. Not cheap but you are grateful it fully delivers.
