December 12, 2021 - 8.5% abv. AP 38. This is pretty good. It’s airy. Like a breeze blowing through a shelter of sand and chalk. Soft, wilted lilies. Patient ambient stone grip. Inviting to embrace. It won’t bend for attention. And still, it embodies such pure, botanical virtue. This wine is effortless. It’s also sandy. It follows the path of least resistance. So does its sugar. The weight is weightless, and the sweetness is lofted. But it’s considerable—the sweetness—like brittle candy. Floral. Acid is in the fabric.
