February 25, 2024 - Exceptional. Full of texture and complexity - Bright ruby color, fragrant nose, dark cherry, plum, currant and citrus. Subtle to barely light oak. Everything I expected from Heitz winery- perfectly blended & crafted.

Heavy oak and leather with dark plum on the nose
Big bold flavor with tobacco, plum, prune, and a hint of blueberries
Very dry, full-bodied wine , medium strong acidity, and gripping tannins Excellent!!!

September 29, 2023 - Bright ruby color. Strong fruit, berries, cherries, lime, vanilla. Not a lot of wood. Nice acidity, not too sweet. Very balanced and drinkable now. Med-Low tannin.
