February 16, 2024 - This is grand cru willamette. Absolutely stunning wine, might be the best American pinot I’ve had.

October 31, 2023 - Agree with previous tasting notes, this wine needs time! First sip about an hour after opening and wasn't very impressed. Drank one glass and plugged it for the next day. Didn't get to it the next day and ended up finishing day 3 and it was beautiful. Wish I remembered to taste on day 2. Give this one some time, but it's wonderful. Don't love the $95 price tag but it's a fine wine indeed.

October 10, 2023 - First off, this is way too young, but it was still very tasty… eventually. Opened and it was just so funky/ reductive and just very austere. After an few hours in bottle (I did not decant) the fruit slowly emerged but everything was so disjointed. Day 2 things started to pop through. Tart cherry, raspberry, cranberry. Lots of structure with some fine tannins and great acidity. Day three things were a bit better. More integration. Nice mouthfeel. It’s a medium bodied Pinot, rides a nice line of good weight and light feeling. The fruit pops and hints of tea, maybe some herb (not green notes) come through. This was a good experiment but I won’t touch these again for a long while.

October 5, 2023 - Finally after 2 years this is showing something. Reductive has faded (though still here) and ripe fruit has emerged. Raspberry, black cherry, earth and game. Enjoyable but still too young. Again there is plenty of bottle variation here.

May 4, 2023 - Same bottle as JVIZ but a sample poured off and stored. Got a strong reductive flint note that really impaired assessment. Could have been spoilage? Anyhow guess ‘19 Bourgogne blind. Not an enjoyable sample but may have just not have been fresh sample.
