November 9, 2022 - Deep purple colour with a unique black fruit (boysenberry perhaps), blueberry and tobacco nose that takes some time to open up. There might even be some black olive in there. Savory flavours dominate along with black fruit on the palate. A salty finish with biting tannins. This one grew on me and ended up much interesting than my first impression.

March 2, 2022 - Alk. 14%. Monastrell 80%, Grenache 10%, Syrah 10%. (92-93)

April 1, 2021 - Deep purple in color with a short purple rim.

Showing red and black fruits with wood, earth, light vegetables, spices, tobacco leaf, coffee and peppercorn.

Fruit forward with medium plus acidity.

Full bodied and dry on the palate.

Long finish with grippy tannins and tangy raspberries.

Too young right now, and will be better in 3 to 5 years.

    Wine Enthusiasts 88 points.

A blend of 70% Monastrell and 30% Garnacha. Vegan.

Tangy and spicy with a nice mouthfeel.

    14.3% alcohol by volume

    89 points.

    $24.

March 26, 2021 - Starts out closed. Needs an hour to open up. Got the Mourvèdre touch of smoked meat and dark fruit and some herbal notes including licorice and then iron. Velvet tannins that becomes that more prominent in the finish. Kind of rustic touch. Overall this is a delicious quality wine.
