November 12, 2021 - A year after last tasted, consistent rating. Enjoyed a magnum for 3 nights over 2 weeks, thanks to coravin. Remains a treat, with luscious fruit and moderate oak. No fade here, but can't vouch for the 750's.

November 7, 2021 - Really nice. From a magnum. Still has full mouthfeel and great fruit. Super good nose. Lingering finish

April 24, 2021 - Silky and flavorful, but I was surprised by how oaky this was. Perhaps it had more merlot character in its younger days? Certainly not over the hill - I expect there’ll be positive reviews on CT about this for 5-10 more years. Just seems much oakier than other Bob Foley merlots - Pride and Switchback - that I’ve been drinking for years. Perhaps it was just this vintage or bottle.

November 7, 2020 - The reviews say it all, Robert Foley makes a darn good Merlot. Enjoyed from a magnum. Holding up well, lush and rich. Probably should drink remaining bottles over the next year or so.

February 27, 2020 - A big surprise. I expected this to be OTH, but not even close. Still has a big aroma with dark fruit, tobacco, cedar, plum, raspberry, cherry. Layers of flavor with plum, raspberry, black cherry, spice, vanilla. The tannins are very soft and fully integrated . Medium finish. Still showing really well.
