August 24, 2022 - Black fruit, especially raspberries and plums. Long finish . Some spice and tobacco. High tannin and medium to high acid which didn’t soften overnight. Good price but I would only get this again if I had a dinner which would benefit from the combination of tannin and acid.

July 7, 2022 - There was a dark ruby/purple color to it with strong smells/taste of black plum, blackberry, raspberry and swear there were smoky notes to it, like tabacco. A very berry/jam initial taste but super dry at the same time, med to high acid, high tannins imo, but somewhat smooth as well. It went really well with 4th of July dinner on the deck with burgers and fixings. I think I have one of my new favorite wines/grapes next to Cab Sauv, and we both liked this more than Syrah. Definitely want to try more Monastrells (Mourvèdre's)
