August 31, 2022 - This is what I refer to as a middlin’ wine. Good drinking but nothing exceptional. Mid to full bodied, lots of plum and cherry, a hint of vanilla and maybe a little earth. Not sure what the Petit Verdot’s role is here but Merlot comes through strong. But just to be clear, this is a really nice, friendly wine.
