March 24, 2024 - Very Bordealais! Very nice wine. Inky black. Cassis, cherry, toasty applewood. Certainly needs time for everything to come together. Revisit in 2028

February 16, 2024 - Very, very good, and will get better. Well integrated tannins already.

February 13, 2024 - 90 minute screen decant (recommended). Potent at this time. Good fruit but could use a few years to settle. Drink from 2025-2032.

December 21, 2023 - Elegant. Cherry and bramble. Medium to full bodied. Decanted three hours. Body seems to gain the longer it is out of bottle. Tannins are apparent, but the wine is young. Will be interesting to open again in 3 - 5 years.

August 23, 2023 - Deep-dark reddish-purple in color; essentially opaque. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of floral notes of lilacs & violets, earthy/dusty notes, spices, herbs, some cocoa notes, anise, graphite, leather & a hint of vanilla/oak in the background. Medium-full bodied with an excellent concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, cocoa, herbs, minerals & a note of vanilla/oak. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing (90 mins.+) but will benefit from & develop further with additional aging.
